About the president

The Rev. Dan H. Prout is president of Sierra Ministries International, a Christian teaching and training organization.  Since receiving a Master's of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, he has served on the staff of Young Life and has pastored in four congregations in California.

As a "transformationst", Dan is committed to developing and training the body of Christ in spiritual strategy to see the Good News of Jesus Christ transform the whole of society

--to see God’s will done on earth as it is in heaven. To this end, he has been instrumental in the founding and success of several regional and statewide Christian organizations.

Dan founded Pray Nevada County, a non-denominational collective of pastors and lay people who seek the Lord together in weekly prayer gatherings. He is also one of the founding organizers of the state-wide coalition, Pray California.

Dan serves with North State Pastors Regional Team, a trans-denominational fellowship promoting prayer and unity in the Body of Christ, and is the Director of the Healing Ministry of Nevada County.

Parents of four adult children, Dan and his wife Kathleen live in Nevada City, California, northeast of Sacramento.
